يمثّل الرائد الرسمي للجمهورية التونسية مرآة للوضع السياسي في البلاد، وإن اختزل البعض دوره في توثيق ونشر القرارات: قوانين وأوامر حكومية ورئاسية وقرارات وزارية وقرارات الهيئات الدستورية والمجالس الأخرى. هوسي بالرائد الرسمي بدأ منذ سنة 2014، وارتبط بعنصر المفاجأة المصاحب لكل نسخة تُنشر.

يتم إصدار رائدين رسميين كل أسبوع: يومي الثلاثاء والجمعة. إلا أن نشرهما للعموم لا يتم بالضرورة في نفس اليوم. وصدر أول رائد رسمي في 22 جويلية سنة 1860.

The official journal mirrors the political reality in Tunisia, though many limits its role in documenting and publishing decisions: laws, governmental decrees, presidential decrees, ministerial decisions, and decisions made by other constitutional authorities or councils. My obsession with the official journal has started since 2014, and has been tightly linked to the suspense that accompanies every publication.

Two journals are published every week: on Tuesday and on Friday. However, the journals are not necessarily made available to the public on that same date. The first journal was published on the 22nd of July, 1860.
